The first harvest of a half-ton was on 17-18 September 2003.  The stats were 25 Brix, 3.3 pH and 0.8 TA.  After 11 months of aging in a new French Oak barrel, the wine is now bottle-aging in our cellar.  Some of the wine was blended with wine from two other Santa Cruz Mountains vineyards for the 2003 Soquel Vineyards Pinot Noir, released in August 2004.
