Owner-Operator: Ed Muns,
previously a technology manager in Silicon Valley, learned viticulture from
other Northern
California wine-growers and through extension courses at the UC Davis Department of Viticulture and
Enology while installing his personally cared-for
vineyard. When outside the vineyard, Ed
enjoys sailing, Ham radio contesting (W0YK), traveling,
Himalyan cats and
'Pinot', his Jack Russell Terrier, who helps keep gophers and other
varmints out of the vineyard.
Partner: Mary Lindsay,
President of Lindsay Public Relations,
is also developing her second career in wine-growing. She manages
the image and outbound messaging for young Internet companies
located in the Santa Clara valley. She is the events coordinator for
Silver Mountain Vineyards and manages their tasting room on Cannery Row in
Monterey. As well, she serves in the VASCM as Program
Manager and Newsletter Editor. Mary supports other viticulture and winemaking
organizations and helps in the vineyard in her spare time. Her additional interests include sailing,
traveling, birding and collecting rocks.
