 Sunday, Feb. 23:  Sip for Second Harvest, at Martinelli’s, Watsonville

Join us for a wonderful afternoon tasting fine local wines – including Muns Vineyard – in support of Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County . Light appetizers and commemorative glass included. All proceeds from this event will provide healthy food and nutrition education to our neighbors in need in Santa Cruz County. $40/person; $70 for two people.  Saturday,  March 21:  Taste of Terroir Dinner with the Wineries at The Summit  

Join Ed & Mary of Muns Vineyard at this new regional farm-to-table wine dinner on Saturday, March 21: Taste of Terroir with the Summit wineries. Celebrate spring and sample the Santa Cruz Mountains wines from the wineries at the Summit – including Muns Vineyard! The evening starts at 6:00pm with a wine reception and silent auction. Then a sit down local, farm-to-table dinner prepared by chef Molly Bravo of Wylder Space – see the mouthwatering menu below.

The dinner takes place at Wrights Station Winery (just down the road from Muns Vineyard) and the participating Summit wineries include: Burrell School, Muns Vineyard, Radonich Brothers Vineyards, Silver Mountain, Wrights Station and Villa del Monte Winery.

Space is limited. Guests must be 21 and over to attend. Tickets: $135 until March 9th, then it will be $145. Tickets available at www.scmwa.com.

Taste of Terroir Dinner with the Summit Wineries

~ MENU ~


  • Foraged and Found: Passed Appetizers ~ Acorn Shortbread with dandelion pesto (vegetarian), Grilled Fillet of Beef with caramelized onion, Point Reyes blue cheese and balsamic reduction, Chili Rubbed Shrimp with an orange butter reduction
  • Fresh off the Vine: Chantenay carrot hummus, za’atar oil, sea salt crackers, Orange marinated olives, Chiagga and golden beets, Crudités
  • Wild Rocket Salad with warm goat cheese pucks, candied bacon, roasted Cipollini onion, minted honey and an edible flower
  • Low and Slow: Spring Beef Osso Bucco with green garlic puree and a green pea pistou
  • Pan Seared Scallop with minted pea coulis and wild mushroom sauté
  • Backyard Garden Edibles: Roasted squash, caramelized onion and goat cheese, homemade yeast bread, drizzled in sherry-shallot and honey
  • Sun Kissed Sweet Treat: Grilled stone fruit, crème fraîche with a molasses drizzle

Saturday, April 18: Passport Day – find us at Vino Locale in Palo Alto, 12:00-4:00 

Vino Locale is our tasting room for the day during Passport. We pour a vertical of several vintages of our excellent Santa Cruz Mountains estate Pinot Noirs and Syrah, this Saturday including the recently released 2013 Winemakers Series Pinot Noir and 2015 Syrah.  Experience the difference the year in the vineyard can make. Enjoy live music, and if it’s a nice day we’ll be outside on the patio.Bring your Passport if you have one – and if you don’t have a Passport, don’t worry – come in and join us regardless. We would love to see you. No charge with Passport; $10 tasting fee without Passport. Passports, $75, are available from the SCMWA here, and are good for one year at all participating locations. You can now choose to purchase through a mobile app (see the SCMWA website).
